My 60th Anniversary Ferrari F430 Spider F1 Transmission
Here is a little video of my latest toy... A Ferrari F430 Spider with F1 transmission... Exterior color is Silverstone and the interior is Corroso "Red". Options include the F1 auto/manual transmission, nav & blutooth, daytona power seats, carbon in the driving zone, Ferrari shields etc. See photos of my car being assembled on the line, followed by videos and photos intertwined.

Technically its an auto/manual… The transmission is a single clutch auto manual. It can be driven in a fully automatic mode however the shifting is not smooth and it will wear out the clutch prematurely. I tend to use the steering column paddles for upshifting and let the computer do the downshifting in normal driving. If I am driving hard than I use paddles for both up and down shift. You get the hang of it in about an hour and after a few days its all just second nature.

Sweet car man, be friggin carefull. Also I do recommend getting a giant killer robot for the driveway. Keeps the rif raf out. I just happen to be building one. Check my vids. Have fun driving that beauty.

All Ferrari’s come with a red Vehicle Identification Passport or V.I.P. Book in a nice red leather sleeve that includes documentation and photos of the car at various assembly points on the line. Its a very nice touch, other manufacturers could learn from this premium type treatment.
How did you get photos of the car being assembled at the plant? Or do they do that for all Ferrari’s? Sweet car though! Thinking about getting one of these myself.

Actually, if you add my Ferrari to my plane, its not a lot different than someone who has a nice RV or boat. Thank god I’m not also into RV’s and boats or I’d be broke… although, now that you mention it… I’d love to add a 47′ powered catamaran and a Monaco coach to my stable of toys someday! For now, check Owning a Ferrari off the bucket list!
