Good advice but needs more info on other parts.
I had thermostat, sensors, water pump, timing belt and other small parts replace. The head gaskets are fine. But is still heating up that he water from the resevoir tank boils up and comes out. Help
A leaky head gasket can also be a reason for no heat inside the car. If your heater core is hot on both hoses and your internal heating controls are working correctly, it may be a blown head gasket that keeps it from heating properly.
I’m surprised that he didn’t mention one of the major causes of overheating….A LEAKY HEAD GASKET. Often a very small leak in a head gasket will cause you to lose small amounts of coolant in the form of vapor. You may smell coolant after driving the car for a bit but you never see it leak. In many cases it just leaks to the outside and doesn’t show up in your oil.
thanks
what should the normal temp be
spot on, ive had to replace 6 fan motors and relays within the last month…..i work at a jeep outfitters in texas
your heater core could be stopped up, preventing complete coolant flow….or your thermostat could be stuck in the closed position. if its not either of the two, you could have a damaged core in the radiator or the cap couldnt be sealing correctly.
