@buddiiee Just dropping by to tell you to get your head out of your ass. There’s plenty of carbureted cars still on the road. The video is still up to date since they showed how to test the TPS of a Carbureted AND Fuel Injected engine. So you get Old school AND New School.
Is it true that you cannot just replace the tps in a ’93 silverado (350ci tbi), but you have to replace the entire throttle body as it says in my haynes repair manual?

Have a old peugeot 205 mono jetronic system and cant get throttle position sensor at all, only a whole throttle body. So i built a hall efect position sensor instead of a pot sensor. What a defferance!!!
My ’99 Intrepid just starts & stalls! A check engine light came on & off Prior to this! But Is the throttle position sensor my issue? Its like $80.00? Will this Cause my Intrepid to Stall??
dosent sound like it dude, you would be using the whole range of the tps sensor both above and below 40 mph, try snapping the throttle at different speeds in all the gears an see if it happens all the time or if it only happens at a certain throttle position or in a specific gear then go from there
did u measure it in Mega ohm or Kilo ohm..it quite confusing…
How is this video? Damn could not have used a modern vehicle?
@buddiiee well.. i do and im 21 lol

@buddiiee They’re all the same dude. lol. they all have 3 wires and all have a part that you push or turn to change resistance.
@ydoicare13 NO you can replace it by itself, two screws

don’t know if it’s bad, disconnect the sensor you think is faulty, now test drive your car.
