What a joke! The fan clutch nut was probably pre-loosened, because it very seldom come off that easy. The water pump pully has holes into which a spanner wrench is inserted to hold the pully while loosening the fan clutch nut. There isn’t enough tension on the serpentine belt to keep the pully from spinning while attempting to loosen a frozen-on fan clutch nut. It seems this guy didn’t want to take the time to show us how to remove the fan clutch in a real-world scenario.

@kenman1717 Yeah I’d agree with that, If you get in to a repair and it gets over your head then the best thing is to take it to a professional.
great vid. i’m all for doing stuff yourself, even before i got into the trade. but i will say if you don’t know what your doing, take it to someone who does. had one towed to me, the guy tried to change the fan clutch himself, what a mess, he used a torch, sawzall, sledge hammer, he tried to cut the nut off, so her ruined everything even the water pump shaft with the treads. had to change everything. and the guy though i was ripping him off cause i had to do the water pump to.
